[NEWS] New Supportive Housing in South Brisbane

After 14 years of operation, Common Ground Queensland (CGQ) is proud to announce our first new Supportive Housing site specifically for families.

After 14 years of operation, Common Ground Queensland (CGQ) is proud to announce our first new Supportive Housing site specifically for families.

Based in South Brisbane, the new building will be home to 18 families and young children. Following our success at Brisbane Common Ground, we provide a 24/7 security service in partnership with Micah Projects, who provide 24/7 support on-site.

As we hit the ground running, we are reminded that our tenants are at the core of everything we do. The families and young children that live in this building have experienced chronic homelessness and we are so happy that they now have a safe, stable environment to call home.

We would like to acknowledge the Queensland Government for their work in developing this new building, as well as the building architect, Vokes & Peters, for creating such an iconic piece of the South Brisbane skyline that will make a tangible change in many families’ lives.
