The numbers are in… We raised $9,788 at our 2023 Spirit of Christmas Fundraiser!

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers who were collecting donations on the day, and huge thanks to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for their continued partnership with us over the years. We really appreciate you!

Funds raised go towards:

  • Providing access to additional support and services for our tenants
  • Better advocacy for supportive housing to end homelessness
  • Supporting women and families escaping domestic violence
  • Housing assistance for refugees and asylum seekers

[MEDIA RELEASE] Queensland Government Recognises Supportive Housing in new Homes for Queenslanders Plan

Common Ground Queensland would like to congratulate the Queensland Government, Premier Steven Miles and Minister for Housing Meaghan Scanlon on their Homes for Queenslanders housing plan.

We provide rental accommodation to people who have experienced chronic homelessness (supportive housing) and to people who require access to affordable housing located in South Brisbane.  Tenants must meet eligibility requirements set out by the Department of Housing.
