Learn More About Ryan O’Leary

Ryan is Common Ground Gold Coast's Company Secretary. Ryan has a wealth of experience and passion in the community services sector.

Ryan has worked in the community services sector for more than 15 years with a passion for working with people in direct service delivery and with services to integrate support networks within local communities. Ryan is the Manager of Community Engagement with QCOSS where he has worked for over 6 years.

From 2020, Ryan has led the Service Integration Initiative on behalf of the Gold Coast Homelessness Network facilitating care coordination groups, delivering local events, and leading the launch of the Gold Coast Zero Campaign to collaboratively end homelessness in the region. Ryan is the secretary for the Gold Coast Homelessness Network.

Ryan has a Master’s in Economics and a Bachelor of Social Work as complimentary frameworks to evaluate the impact of how the polices and design of social services systems we can make meaningful change to lives through collaboration, coordination, and data informed service delivery.

Common Ground Queensland

We provide rental accommodation to people who have experienced chronic homelessness (supportive housing) and to people who require access to affordable housing located in South Brisbane.  Tenants must meet eligibility requirements set out by the Department of Housing.
