[EVENT] Micah Projects – Keeping Families Together Event

CGQ would like to congratulate the Queensland Government on their recent announcement of a Supportive Housing Policy for Queensland.

Yesterday, the team at Common Ground Queensland attended the Keeping Families Together: Supportive Housing with Families Evaluation and Report Launch event yesterday.

Dr Ella Kuskoff and Professor Cameron Parsell gave extremely insightful information around the root causes and effects of families in chronic homelessness.

The data showed proof that by applying Supportive Housing Principles to a scattered-site model for families, that there were massive improvements for those families in feelings of safety, security and self-determination.

We deliver the Supportive Housing for Families program in partnership with Micah Projects.
