Australia’s new National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH) is a national system of registration, monitoring and regulation of community housing providers which is being rolled out this year across the nation. The regulatory system is based around meeting a range of performance requirements in the areas of tenant and housing services, housing assets, community engagement, governance, probity, management and financial viability.

The new system aims to create a consistent regulatory and operating environment within the sector to:

  • Improve tenant outcomes and protect vulnerable tenants;
  • Protect government funding and equity in the sector; and
  • Enhance investor and partner confidence.

Common Ground Queensland has been preparing for the upcoming changes for some time and we are pleased to announce that we have submitted our registration today.  We would like to thank our dedicated team for their valued efforts and skill in achieving this epic milestone.
