How to Apply

Brisbane Common Ground offers supportive housing and affordable housing to tenants who meet the eligibility requirements.

Supportive housing is offered to tenants who have experienced homelessness and meet our eligibility criteria.

To enter our Supportive housing stream, you must be referred through a support agency that has completed the Brisbane Common Ground referral form. 

If you would like to be referred to Brisbane Common Ground for a supportive housing vacancy please ask your support worker to contact Common Ground Queensland for a referral pack by phoning (07) 3370 8320 or email admin@commongroundqld.org.au

Once your referral has been received by Common Ground Queensland your application will be assessed alongside other applications. One or more successful applicants will be offered an interview which will be conducted by both Common Ground Queensland and our onsite support provider, Micah Projects. One applicant per vacancy will be offered a tenancy at the conclusion of the interview process.

Affordable housing can only be offered to individuals who meet each of the following criteria:

Applicants must meet the below eligibility criteria:

  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Queensland resident
  • 18+ years of age
  • Not own or part-own property within Australia or overseas. This includes residential or commercial property, land, mobile home or caravan (permanently connected to utilities)
  • Are currently working, with a salary under $45,000; 
  • Females are encouraged to apply to maintain a building gender balance
