How to Apply

Brisbane Common Ground offers supportive housing and affordable housing to tenants who meet the eligibility requirements.

Supportive housing is offered to individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness and meet each of the below eligibility criteria:

  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Queensland resident
  • 18+ years of age
  • Has been chronically homeless for over 2 years
  • Is currently wait listed on the Department of Housing register with a Very High Needs assessment
  • Requires support to sustain a tenancy

To enter our Supportive housing stream, you must be referred through a support agency that has completed the Brisbane Common Ground referral form. 

Affordable housing can only be offered to individuals who meet each of the below eligibility criteria:

  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Queensland resident
  • 18+ years of age
  • Not own or part-own property within Australia or overseas. This includes residential or commercial property, land, mobile home or caravan (permanently connected to utilities)
  • Are currently working, with a salary under $60,000
